What gives us a sense of belonging and being at home? This is the core question that runs through my exhibition ‘Self Portrait of Me in Another Time’, presented at the contemporary art space of Made by TSI, in Miami, Florida, US, June 28 - September 12, 2024.  The exhibition title coincides with the title of one of my artworks, which became damaged during transport in 2021, when moving from Italy to Florida after twenty years of finding home in Florence. The title is metaphoric for a search of home and belonging, it delves into identity, migration, memory, ancestry and time.
